Rose Marie Hensler

Rose Hensler, a faithful servant and disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ, crossed over into Heaven eternal on Sunday July the 6th in Jackson County Ohio, surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Rose will be mostly remembered for her loving and genuinely kind spirit, embracing everyone for who they were and giving of herself all she could with a servants heart. Rose had a way about her in making you feel special and loved even if she had just met you. Her humor was always on point and her prayers were always on time. Generations of families have been transformed and saved by the gospel of Jesus Christ because of her willingness to be used of the Lord in loving people to Jesus. She was truly the hands and feet of the gospel message and lived a life of discipleship. Our world here will never fully comprehend the impact of her life and legacy, but when we are reunited in God’s glorious majesty for eternity we shall see the fruits of her labor where we will embrace and worship together once more at the feet of Jesus. She leaves behind two sons, two daughters, seven grand children and many special friends. May you live as Rose did. “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8 She is survived by her two sons, Jon (Lindsey) Hensler and Quentin (Brianna) Hensler; as well as seven grandchildren, Cayden, Addilynn, Remi (Quentin & Brianna) and Emmitt, Ellison, Birdie, Bellamy (Jon & Lindsey), her siblings, Connie Justice, Albert "Ab" (Debbie) Reed and David Reed, as well as a whole host of very special nieces and nephews. Preceding Rose in death are her parents, Albert A. and Veldine M. (Francis) Reed; her siblings, Tom Reed, Sheldon Reed, Mark Reed, Edith Frecker and her infant sister, Cheryl Reed. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at the Trinity Chapel in Jackson, Ohio with burial in the C.M. Cemetery to follow.
