Walter Lewis Rowley Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Walter Lewis Rowley, also known as “Walt, daddy, dad, pap, pappaw and to those in the CB world, Turtle” passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the Adena Regional Medical Center of Chillicothe. He was born March 30, 1958 in Mason County, West Virginia to the late George and Phyllis McDaniels Rowley. Walt loved working on cars and just being outside. He never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. He'd never take anything in return for his help and he never expected it. He loved everyone and even thought of his kids friends as his own. He is survived by his children: Bryan (Gabriella Rowley, April (Joshua) Massie, Samantha Kutzer, Kristy Kutzer(Logan Hunter), Michelle Jones, Hayleigh (Alexander) O'Brien, Allana (Alexander) Barber and Jordan Dillinger, grandchildren: Bryan Rowley Jr, Mia Isabella Rowley, Katelynn Massie, Aiden Masie, Alex Goetzen, Graciela Ixta, Santiago Ixta, Sahlest Kutzer, Braylyn Hunter, Carissa Gilliland, Joshua Gilliland, Eliza O'Brien, Gideon O'Brien and Everli Barber, brothers and sisters: Pam (Dan) Spressart, Sue Bacus, Mike Rowley, Kevin Rowley and Jim Rowley. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews and several close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Tom, George and Ed Rowley. Funeral services will be held at 2PM Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Hershel Wilcox officiating. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service from 12-2PM.
