Shirley M. Hughes

Shirley M. Hughes, age 69 of Jackson, passed away at the Four Winds Community on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 11, 1949 to the late Issac and Vivian (Woolever) Beach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dennis M. Hughes, and her brothers: Frank, Jerry and Edward Beach. She is survived by her husband, Denver M. Hughes, and her children: Denver M. Hughes (Jennifer), Edward M. Hughes (Samantha) and Peggy L. Travis (Edward). Also surviving are seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Shirley enjoyed playing cards, Yahtzee, Nintendo, sitting on the porch swing, talking, spending time with family and friends, and shopping. She never knew a stranger.
