Marjorie Ann Manion Sickles

March 16, 1952 - January 13, 2019

Marjorie Ann Manion Sickles, born in Ray, Ohio March 16, 1952. The 2nd child to the late Neal & Opal Manion. She attended Jackson High School where she met Charles Raymond Sickles, whom she wed on February 8, 1969. Together they raised 3 children Charlie, Penny and Joe. Margie was a member of Faith Family Worship Center The only thing she love more than her family was her relationship with God. She loved spending time with all her family and friends. She fell in love with the Smokey Mountains after a trip down with her parents. She enjoyed fishing and trips to the zoo with her family. She lived to laugh and and could be rotten. Introduce her to a friend and that friend became family. She enjoyed her flowers and spending time outside. She was always willing to listen and offer a shoulder. She was so kind and giving of herself. Margie helped everyone she could any way she could. Someone had asked her once “why do you have so much canned food?” Her response was “so I can give it to people that need food.” That’s the kind of loving woman she was. Margie was preceded in death by a niece, Joanne (Sissy) Manion, father-in-law, Ira (Hick) Sickles; a brother, Thomas (Tom) Wayne Manion; her father, Neal Vernon Manion; her mother, Opal Marcella (Harper) Manion and sister-in-law, Patricia (Trish) Ann Sickles. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Charles Sickles Sr.; brothers, Tim and wife, Connie Manion; Neal (Junior) and wife, Crystal Manion and Elba (Rocky) and his wife, Bonnie Manion. Her 3 children: son, Charles Jr. (Charlie) and wife, Crystal, daughter, Penny and husband, Charles Gray, son, Joseph (Joe) and wife, Kim Sickles; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
