June Bolen

June Bolen, age 77, of Jackson, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on November 29, 1936 in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Nathaniel Bolen and Rosie Bolen. June is survived by her son, Jeff (Julia) Bolen and sisters Sylvia Hicks and Judy Thomas. She is also survived by grandchildren Jeffrey Bolen and Joel Bolen and great-grandson Brennon Bolen. June was a graduate of Jackson High School. She was a 35-year employee of the Veteran's Administration in Chillicothe. June's grandchildren and great-grandson were the light of her life. She also enjoyed sewing, flower gardening and feeding the fish at the pond in her free time. Friends may call at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Wednesday February 26, 2014. Service will follow immediately at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, February 26, with Charles Isaac presiding.
