Geneva Lowe, age 74, of Wellston, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 7, 2013, at her residence. She was born in Martin County, Kentucky on Sept. 7, 1939. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archel Wendell and Mary Elizabeth (Hensley) Stepp, a granddaughter Faith and four brothers. She is survived by her husband, James R. Lowe; son, James E. Lowe of Wellston; four daughters: Barbara Sue Parsons, Betty Ann Fisher, Melinda Gale Logan, all of Wellston, and Alice Fay Walker of Waverly; six brothers: Wendell, Warren, Ronnie, Thurrel, Paul and Granville; four sisters: Marie, Mae, Deloris and Patty; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at the Evangelical Community Church, 5104 State Route 93, Oak Hill, Ohio at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, Oct. 12, with Rev, Stan Howard officiating.
