Frances J. "Jackie" Alcorn

Frances J. “Jackie” Alcorn, age 61 of Coalton, passed away at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. She was born in Oak Hill, Ohio on November 22, 1959 to the late Andrew Jack Dempsey and Emma Faye (Spearry) Dempsey. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Shawn Dempsey. She is survived by her son. John (Anna) Alcorn; daughter, Amy (Craig) McGowan; 2 grandchildren: Ian and Brooklyn McGowan; one brother, Chris Dempsey; and by the father of her children, Denver Alcorn. A nephew, Caleb Dempsey and several cousins also survive. Jackie loved to shop, spend time with her family and friends, spoiling her grandchildren and collecting angels. She also loved her dog “Miss Molly”. The family will receive friends at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Saturday, December 5th from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at 5:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home and Southern Ohio Cremation Services.
